Product Description

Chips (also known as color "flakes" or "fleck") are integrally colored, random sized particles that are produced from water-based polymers and other materials. Chips are commonly used as a decorative component in resin-based flooring systems designed to enhance residential, commercial, and industrial environments such as garages, utility rooms, basements, high traffice foyers, entryways, corridors, restrooms, and warehouse spaces.

Chips, uniquely formulated to absorb basecoat and topcoat resins, facilitate the creation of durable coating systems that resist component delamination. After more than 15 years of production, there are no known Chip incompatibilities with resin systems.

Colors

We manufacture 30 standard solid color Chips and 10 standard striped color Chips. We also produce fluorescent (black light activated), phosphorescent (glow-in-the-dark), and metallic color Chips. Please ask us for samples!

Custom Colors - Available Upon Request

If you would like colors we do not show on our website or color chart -- simply provide us with something to match and we will produce the colors you desire.

 

Available Sizes

Solid colors are available in 1 inch (random), 5/8 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/4 inch, 1/8 inch, 1/16 inch, and 1/32 inch.

Striped colors are only available in the 1 inch (random) size.

 

Size Limitations

There will be a slight variation in average Chip size and shape due to our manufacturing process. Some dust will be present within each package.

 

Thickness

4.5 to 5.5 mils (0.0045 in. to 0.0055 in.)

 

Blends

We blend Chips of two or more colors together according to your specifications -- just let us know the colors and ratios that define a blend with your desired appearance.

Give us something to match and we will create a blend for you. Send us samples of natural stone, concrete overlays, wall treatments, color pallets, company logo colors, etc... and we will work with you to create unique colors and blends. Please call us for assistance!
